What can your VRAM run?
- Page updated
Pick your graphics card's memory to see what every RigCheck checker says each card with that much VRAM can run, with 64 GB of system RAM. For one card's page see graphics cards; for a Mac, Macs; for any other machine, the finder.
RigCheck has a page for 5 VRAM sizes so far: 8 GB, 12 GB, 16 GB, 24 GB, 32 GB. Each one lists, card by card, every model checker's own answer for the graphics cards with that memory in the finder. Cards with the same memory often get different answers, so no page turns a memory size into a verdict by formula.
| VRAM | Cards | With an answer on at least one card | Placed on the card, on every card | Models, sizes and routes covered |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 GB | 20 | 11 | 0 | 14 |
| 12 GB | 12 | 13 | 0 | 16 |
| 16 GB | 21 | 13 | 0 | 16 |
| 24 GB | 7 | 14 | 0 | 16 |
| 32 GB | 3 | 14 | 0 | 16 |
With 64 GB of system RAM, in the finder's quick mode. Counted in models, sizes and routes (Gemma 4 counts five sizes); an answer is anything other than "does not fit", "not covered" or "weights not released", and it may run on the processor in system RAM alone or name no placement at all. "Placed on the card, on every card" counts only the llama.cpp capacity estimates that put the model wholly or partly in GPU memory on every card of that size. The llama.cpp language-model answers are capacity estimates and the route-match ones (Nemotron 3.5, GLM-5.3-Flash, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash) are published route matches.
