RigCheck has no accounts and sets no cookies. The checkers and calculators run entirely in your browser; they never send the hardware you select to us. A "copy link" button puts your selections after the # in the page address so you can share them; browsers do not send that part to any server. (Share links made before 7 October 2026 put them after a ? instead, which browsers do send when the page is requested; the page moves them behind the # as soon as it opens.)

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not track you across sites or store personal data on your device.

To see whether the checkers are useful, the site also adds one to a daily counter on our own server when a page is viewed and when a checker is first used on that page. The counter stores only the page, the date and, for the Strata checker, the overall verdict (yes, with caveats, experimental or no). It does not store your selections, IP address or any identifier, and the request carries no cookie or referring address.
